More on Gunung Gading

CONTINUENITY...........

.Gunung gading dalam ceritera kita dat day ... beyond the marvelous  mount .... there are many stories ... during my hike up i found a few weird things .... 

satu daripada nya ialah ... ondaway mek org nait belum lama berjalan baru around 10 mins ... km org terserempak ngan ranjer cia a.k.a local cia ... nya pesan ngan km org kelak mun gi waterfall jgn makan di waterfall 3 dan 7... tempat ya c bgs diganggu dipadah nya ... then nya cow trus ... pa dik suspend la km org 

... dah nyata skali dengan cara cidak ya madah tempat ya keras n berisi ... so km org pun menerus kan perjalan ke atas sekali sekala berhenti untuk menikmati permandangan dan berehat ...

 permangdangan nya nang c dinanafikan cantik ... very conserve n preserve ... waterfall nya pun perrhh... cantik... km org pun jln limpas waterfall 1 then nait agik ke old man rock ... 

batu ya dipercayai dijumpai oleh seorg tua., setiap kali org tua ya ke cia nya akan berhenti untuk sembahyang .. tp NOBODY KNOWS WHO HE IS TILL TODAY   ... cara batu ya diceritakan dlm papan tanda ya buat km org full of tanda tanya ..... nya c madah who is the old man dan apakan batu ya ... but fyi batu ya nang besar n ada air trun dr celah nya ... FUUUHH SO IS THE VERY mysterious ..... so lepas rehat sebentar km org pun meneruskan perjalanan ke atas lg ... fuiyoo!! nang letih benar.... tp sebab permandangan  nya boleh tahan (nyesal c ambi bnyak pic ) ATI PUN KERAS mok nait gik... a few minits pass km org pun sampai ke waterfall 7 .... 

di cia ada kisahnya juak ... menurut the trusty papan tanda cia dipadah ada 3 org puteri yang pernah turun dan mandi ... sidak bertiga ada tanam buluh kuning di area ya yang dipercayai cuma hati dan nurani yang suci dan berniat ikhlas saja yg boleh melihat dan temu nya .... dipercayai barang sesiapa yang temu buluh ya maka NASIB HIDUP NYA AKAN BERUBAH  fohh seram sejuk gak crita nya ... 

...so perjalanan diteruskan ... kwn yang lain stay disimpang waterfall 7 sebab dan kepancitan ... so only aku n kwn ku mr B meneruskan perjalanan ... dalam perjalanan km 2 singgah rah waterfall ya ... wah nang superb mantop view nya ... the water was almost as if calling us to jump in ... tp sebab teringat ngan pesan ranger ya km 2 pun bergambar je ... c brani juak mau bising2 cia ... 

.... so km 2 pun meneruskan perjalanan mau  menawan puncak... wah trek nya dan mkn susah ... makin tggi ... ditambahkan agik dgn hutan yang gelap , cuaca makin suram n suasana yang tahap melampau sunyi ( seram sejuk juak mun dikenang balit ) .......  

.........dalam perjalanan turun ... km 2 pun berfikir ... kenak waterfall nya ONLY IN ODD NUMBERS 1 , 3 AND 7 ...  n cnei tuju 2,4,5 and 6 ????? 

misteri mysterious benar .... 

untill today ku terfikir WHY????.......

 .... tp nang c dinafikan terlalu banyak dan ceritera org hilang nyawa n rasukkan cia .... nang keras juak gunung gading .... 

GUNUNG GADING DAN CERITERA NYA...

One week ago .. aku dan member-member pergi outing ke GUNUNG GADING  di lundu ... konon-konon nya nak menawan puncak nya tp gunung tue pula yang menawan kami .... So gunung gading sangat peymus dengan natural habitatnya spt; bunga rafelsia dan air terjun nya .... canteek tue.....

tp for ur information air terjun gunung gadig mempunyai ceritanya sendiri ...
penduduk disekeliling kaki gunung itu believes that behind the lust and beutiful scenes lies many stories of makhluk halus dan rasukkan....

Pada beberapa tahun yang lalu sebuah sekolah di daerah serian menjalankan satu aktiviti di sana ... kira sidak ya gi camping and hiking la cia ..... suma berjalan lancar sampai lah sidak pulang dari trip ya .... sejurus aje sidak sampai di sekolah satu rasukkan telah berlaku .... a gurl being possess by spirits a.k.a mahluk halus dari gunung tersebut ... nya meroyan and histeria ... yang paling mengejutkan bukan seekor yang merajuk beliau ... tp ada 6 ekor sumanya ... disitulah bermulanya sejarah hitam SMKS .... start dari kejadian itu , dlm masa sehari only ada lebih kurang 20 ke 50 org student histeria ...

 so dalam keadaan yang huru hara itu , sekolah terpaksa ditutup untuk seminggu ... masa cuti ya sidak skul pun kontek bos-bos kat kay ell ... sidak yang penuh ilmu di dada ya pun turun padang  ke skul berkenaan ... menurut sumber-sumber yang kira boleh dipercayai ... bala-bala sidak yang ada power tok pun berundeng secara aman ngan sidak 6 ekor tok ... dipercayai semasa trip ke gunung gading ya, sidak student2 smks ya polah hal... banyak yang bising dan c respek ngan tempat kediaman sidak makhluk halus tok ... that why mahluk2 towk take revenge ....
bayangkan disebabkan celupar 1 sekolah terpaksa tutup ... so at last selepas rundingan damai berjaya dicapai ... sidak mahluk2 halus tok pun setuju untuk berpindah dari skul berkenaan ... bayangkan 6 corner skul ya
 diconquer sidak ya

 ... mana tak huru hara nya ... so at last kesemua 6 ekor ya pun ditransfer ke tempat lain ... yang misteknya 6 ekor ya dipindahkkan ke tempat riadah RANCHAN pool pula ... habis-habis....
but, menurut ceritera2 terbaru towk ... mahluk berkenaan dipercayai datang balit ke skul ya ....
Tak abis2 pula sidak towk ... mungkin nya mok skul juak kali ...
 SO MORAL OF THE STORY IS .... jikalau kita berjalan di tanah orang jaga2 lah mulut 2 ... JANGAN TERLALU CELUPAR bak kata otai2 marek dolok JANGAN KERANA MULUT BADAN BINASA ....

HANTU AIR a.k.a Hantu laut...

Hantu air or water monster (sea monster ) ... 

is it real or just the imagination.... Hantu air is said to be form from unwanted entity or senang dipadah mahkluk halus nak dibuang ke laut or sungei ... according to tales and legend those hantu air is the most strongest and most fearsome among all of the entities on land ... this is because they are believe to have vengeance to the human race for throwing them in sea or water after had been human servants for such long time ... 

to cast them to open water ... the shamans have to prepare ACAK for the ritual ... Acak consist of 

-bertih

-nasi kuning 

-anak patung tradisional (made of earth elements)

-chicken 

-and most important blood 

....the shamans usually capture those entities ( toyol, pelesit , langsuir etc.) and seal them in a glass bottle before wrapping it with yellow cloth and vanish it to open water .....

time past for ages and the seal is broken and in that moment on they will seek for vengeance......

 Soooo .... true STORY .... 

happend to a few friend of mine (6 of them ) ...  the incident happend in the year 2006 (end of the year ) ... this happend somewhere in SERIAN not far from my kampong ... 

these friends of mine gone for fishing in a small creek not far from kampong .... 

odway there they met 2 indon working in that are ( pekerja ladang ) sidak ya madah la mok g ngail tek di sungei ya .... 

so those indon warn them of that area .... they called it BLOCK 8 ... according to them , that BLOCK is unsettled and many strange thing had happend there ..... kira tempat ya keras laa ... but they all tidak kisah la ... semangat mok ngail .... so they proceed fishing to the evening ... they caught a lot of cat fish ( big cat fish/ keli kuning  ) untill it was dawn ... sunlight fade and the forest turn dark ... suddently all of them saw bubbles blupping infront of them ..... followed by a glow of light .... slowly a figure start to emerge .... it was dark and satanic figuring they say .... with long hair .... they cant really saw the face ...kotan takut gilak and gelap ... they only remembered it smelled really awful ... kedak bau bangkei tepi jalan padah sidak ... 

... dengan penuh suspen and ketakutan they leave their fishing poles and bekal then trus pecut lari .... even some of them leave their sleepers behind and flee back home bare footed ...   SESAMPAINYA KAMPUNG ....  ikan banyak2 ya pun cdak tinggalkan and kesemua sidak ya jatuh demam .... They told what happend to the old folk of the village ... and... they were told that BLOCK 8 is the place for BERTAPA and MENCARI ilmu a long time ago .. and it was believe that a lot of SAKA,TOYOL,PEMANIS and PENDAMPING thrown into the creek... 

There u go... Walaupun cdak ya biasa kat utan pun kena sampuk juak ....

WHAT EMERGE IN THAT CREEK AT DAWN IS STILL A MYSTERY >>> few weeks later a GROUP OF freinds was spoke by the same insident TOO.......

 

Orang bunian true story

Orang bunian is a form of entity that is belief to have social status like humans ... they are categories dalam keluarga jin .....

it is belief that orang bunian or mahluk halus is capable to possess a human body and use them as their capsule to live among humans .... ada juak nak madah cdak merasuk un balas dendam a.k.a revenge ....
most of the stories i've gather told a tell of possession because revenge because their home or place have been disturb.... by us human ....
this is a true story that happened to a close  friend of mine.... this incident happened during year end of 2003 ...
this friend of mine lost 2 month of his life when he was possess by an entity .... according to his story ... he was playing football with friend .... main bol time petang-petang mau dekat senja ... around 5.30 pm....

sidak main di tepi kubur lamak or as we always call it a PINGEREN.... he accidentally kick the ball to the old grave and broke an old bowl used to give offering to the dead ... that evening masa nya pulang he felt his body start to SHIVER ( panas sejuk)....

tp nya make donno jak ... that nite when he when to bed .... he felt something was looking inside his window ... being a strong hearted person he just ignore it and when to sleep ....
in the next morning he felt his body was tired and his leg was full of mosquito bites ... that day every goes like normal until he deside to take a nap that evening ... AND EVERYTHING CHANGE ..... nya rasa nya tgh tido tapi sebenarnya ... jasad nya bangun dan duduk di depan umah termenung sampei ke malam ... bila ditanya nya c menjawab ... he continued being like that till the next morning ... nya lansung  c makan c tido .... spai esok pagi baru nya sedar , his family was very worried   with his behaviour  ... nya cuma sedar time pagi ya .. bila nya rasa terlampau lapar ... family nya pun dah bingung dah ....
THAT EVENING ... it happend again ..... nya c klaka , c makan , c mandi .... bila his family as him to go inside .... nya cuma senyum dan sambung termenung ngga luar tingkap ..
so family nya embak nya ke pawang or bomoh ...
 ...the shaman  jampi2 him ... then dapat tau that he kena sampuk ... 3 hari berturut2 nya berubat ...
pada hari ketiga baru bomoh ya dpt communicate ngan roh yg menghantui nya ... BUNIAN  ya mau nya ganti mangkuk yang pecah ya then beri offering ngan nya ... so the next nite they proceed with the offering and some ritual was done ... his life came back slowly to normal ....
when asked about the incident he dont remember anything ... he only remembered he dreamed looking at the sun till dawn and some DARK SHADOWS LINGURING AMONG HIM AND BRINGING  him to the forest at nite .... AND HE CANT BELIEVE THAT  all the time this incident happend for 2 months... nya cuma rasa jam 2 -3 jam jak perkara ya berlaku ...

PERSOALANYA ialah ADAKAH CUMA JASADNYA  termenung depan rumah ... dah roh nya hilang ke hutan .... IS HIS SOUL BACK TO HIS BODY  now ...
... he only remembered BERJALAN DI HUTAN ketika senja tanpa ada seorang manusia pun di mata ... ONLY SHADOWS .....

the ketapang tree a.k.a  Terminalia catappa (scientific name ) .... has its own story to tell ... 
behind the white huge tree there is a legend to its enormous and in famous beauty ... it was told that the ketapang tree has its own spirit ... according to the legend this tree sik dapat ditumbangkan senang2 ... in order to cop it down ..old folks of the village have to call the shamans to PERFORM SOME RITUAL  to take permission from the spirit of the tree....
here i would like to share with u 'all a TRUE STORY  ... this happend a few times in my hometown of serian ... it was the late 1980's ... there a huge ketapang tree beside the cross state highway ... the contractor wanna bring down the tree, so they called a lumberjack ... he came bringing his trusty chain saw ..... 
the moment his chain touches the bark of the tree .... a small twig snap and fall on top of his shoulder ... 
and infront of many eyes he fell on the GROUND AND DIED  ... the MA pronounce his death is due to a heart attack which he never had record of ....

WOW!! just only a small twig from the legendary tree can kill the lumberjack .... imagine that...
a few years past a different contractor call a different lumberjack to cop the same tree down ... and guess what happend... THE HISTORY REPEATED  itself .... due to this incident they call a shaman to JAMPI SERAPAH  the tree ... and u'all noe what happend .... the shaman only perform half of his ritual .. then fled away DENGAN MUKA PUCATnya .... when ask , he only answer ... dont touch the tree .... 
 UNTIL today the legend lives ... when u drive out of serian town (just before reaching ranchan ) you will see the huge ketapang tree stand tall with the highway diverting by its side ... 

HRMMM ..... even a tree has its own spirit....
